User Operations at Perplexity is not traditional customer support. The team focuses on scaling operations and improving the user experience through data-driven decision-making, automation, and strategic problem-solving.
AI handles the simple Tier 1 inquiries, allowing the team to focus on high-impact initiatives that contribute to company growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, startup environment where ambiguity is part of the challenge — and the fun.
Strong systems thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to optimize processes. This is a technical role.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a startup setting with minimal direction.
A passion for contributing to product direction and growth initiatives to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
Understanding of AI, automation, or large language models is highly desirable.
Comfort with data analysis and reporting (SQL experience is a huge plus!).
